Chefs' Pavilion for Indian weddings on the French Riviera

An Indian wedding is among the most spectacular celebrations in the world. Spanning several days, it brings together families, rituals, and grand banquets in exceptional settings.

Between Monaco, Cannes and Saint-Tropez, the French Riviera has established itself as a leading destination for families planning a luxury Indian wedding in Europe.

In these celebrations, cuisine is never an afterthought. This is precisely the purpose of Pavillon des Chefs: to offer families, wedding planners and international chefs the facilities and expertise of an established local partner, for authentic cuisine served at scale.

The French Riviera : a Premier Destination for Luxury Indian Weddings

Why Indian families choose the Riviera

Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Saint-Tropez - these names evoke elegance and light. For Indian families based in the UK, the US, or the Gulf countries, the French Riviera is the dream setting for a destination wedding. Private estates, heritage hotels and open-air venues offer a scale rarely available elsewhere in Europe.

Accessibility adds to the appeal: Nice-Côte d'Azur International Airport connects directly to the world's major cities, easing the arrival of guests and specialist teams when an event gathers several hundred people over several days.

Cuisine at the heart of the celebration

In Indian culture , the table sits at the centre of ritual and family identity. A wedding menu may call for dozens of preparations – elaborate curries, saffron-scented biryanis, layered sweets, breads baked over fire – each bearing the mark of a region and, often, of a recipe passed down through generations.

Every key moment sets its own pace of service : the sangeet , the mehndi ceremony, the festive arrival of the baraat, the wedding-day banquet. Entrusting this cuisine to a generalist caterer is simply not an option. Our approach is different: rather than imitate, we enable. We place our facilities and operational expertise at the service of the chef you choose to bring.

Welcoming your Indian chef into our laboratory: the turnkey principle

Pavillon des Chefs Culinary Laboratory

A 2,000 m² professional facility in Mouans-Sartoux

Located in the heart of the Alpes-Maritimes, our production laboratory spans 2,000 m² dedicated to large-volume artisanal cuisine. Each cooking method —steaming, sous-vide, roasting, frying, cold preparation —has its own space and equipment. This versatility is a necessity when producing dozens of dishes simultaneously for a wedding of 300, 500, or 800 guests: the precision of the artisan combined with the capacity of an industrial kitchen, never at the expense of quality.

Your Chef, our facilities

This is our most distinctive offer : your chef specialising in Indian cuisine — whether from London, Mumbai or Dubai — works in our laboratory with their own recipes, spices and techniques. We provide the space, the equipment, the workforce and the logistics. They bring their mastery and the culinary soul of your family.

Our teams, seasoned in volume production, adapt to the specific demands of Indian cuisine: strict vegetarian diets, halal protocols, and the tight timings dictated by the ceremony schedule.

A skilled brigade alongside the guest chef

Pavillon des Chefs Culinary Brigade

Bringing in a chef from abroad is a significant decision; it deserves a team to match. Our cooks and production assistants, trained to the standards of leading houses, follow precise instructions and maintain a consistent level of finish, even at high volumes.

The guest chef does not arrive in an unfamiliar kitchen, but in an organised laboratory configured for them.

Pavillon des Chefs' expertise at the service of your Indian wedding

Large-volume artisanal cuisine, a French specialty

To produce in great quantity without loosing the precision of the gesture or the freshness of the ingredients - this is our discipline. For an Indian wedding, where each dish must arrive hot, fragrant and on a precise timing dictated by the rituals, this operational mastery is decisive. It frees the guest chef from the logistical constraints that, if mishandled, can compromise an entire service.

Fresh ingredients and an Eco-Responsible approach

Our laboratory sources fresh ingredients selected for their flavour, within an eco-responsible approach attentive to packaging, supply chains, and waste reduction - a further guarantee of quality for your guests.

Events of up to 5,000 guests

Indian weddings are often large-scale celebrations. Our laboratory and teams are sized accordingly: we regularly handle events of up to 5,000 people with the same rigour as a dinner for 100. This ability to scale without compromising quality is why organisers specialising in Indian weddings choose to work with us.

Planning your Indian wedding on the French Riviera: the key stages

The project manager for the Pavillon des Chefs is finalizing the setup for a wedding.

A First Conversation dedicated to your project

Every Indian wedding is unique. We begin with an in-depth conversation — with you and, where possible, the guest chef — to understand the ceremony programme, dietary requirements, culinary style, guest numbers and production schedule. This is the foundation of a bespoke arrangement.

Coordination with the overseas Chef

We work upstream with the chef you appoint : available equipment, specific needs in materials and ingredients, sourcing of spices and particular produce. The goal: that on the day, they find a laboratory configured to their requirements.

Service on the day of the celebration

Our role does not end with production. We handle transport and on-site set-up so that every dish arrives in optimal condition. Our service teams operate with discretion, efficiency and the attention to detail that defines great receptions.
